When Madonna and her daughter Lourdes first launched their Material Girl collection last year, with Taylor Momsen as the face of the brand, we never really hear much from Taylor herself, but now there is a new Material Girl behind the Spring Collection and there is no way she is going to stay quiet! Its Kelly Osbourne of course! She launched the new Material Girl collection yesterday at Macy’s in Los Angeles and she brought her bubbly personality along to the party too! That’s why we love her!

Out magazine just released its second April 2011 cover featuring another of the “Ladies We Love,” Madonna (the first featured Britney Spears). The Madonna print spread features never-before-published photographs taken by Richard Corman, along with an additional 18 images posted exclusively to Out.com.

In the new issue Corman talks about the day he shot these images in 1982 and the amazing woman he met as a result of a recommendation by his mother, Cis Corman, who had just had Madonna test read for a role in “The Last Temptation of Christ.”

When Corman arrived at Madonna’s Alphabet City apartment nearly two decades ago, he was struck by how the neighborhood children flocked to the fledgling star. “They followed her, they danced with her, they sang with her. It was something they did on a daily basis, and it was remarkable,” Corman remembers.

He continues, “She was so alive and unpretentious. She was fierce, determined. Nothing was going to stop her.”

The “Ladies We Love” issue is dedicated to the women who inspire, scandalize, educate, and excite us. In addition to Madonna and Britney, the issue celebrates Wendy Williams, Tippi Hedren, Heather Morris, Phyllis Diller, Stockard Channing, and others.

Madonna did not attend the Academy Awards on Sunday night, but she did get in on some A-list after party action. In her panties, no less.


The pop superstar walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a sheer lace dress worn over a black leotard. It did, of course, put her hard-won derriere on display. She’s got it. She flaunts it. And maybe she didn’t want to let Sharon Stone get away with stealing the red carpet spotlight.


Madonna complemented her pants-free look with stacked black platform pumps, sleek side-parted blond locks, and her beautiful daughter on her arm. Wonder what Lourdes thought of her mom’s exposed skin?

They’ve been at odds with each other for decades, but this past Tuesday night (January 18) Madonna and Prince decided to let bygones be bygones.

Madge showed up at Prince’s gig at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he made a good-natured joke about Madonna’s high-priced concert tickets.

In previous years, the “Material Girl” singer and the “Let’s Go Crazy” stud, who dated in 1985, took turns taking shots at each other in interview and during public appearances.

Back in 2007, Prince declared during one of his concerts, “I got so many hits y’all can’t handle me. I got more hits than Madonna’s got kids.”
