Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 120 Days in Jail
Lindsay Lohan is headed back to the slammer — for 120 days! TMZ reports the starlet was just given the sentence for her violating her probation and will spend nearly 4 months in county jail.
The starlet was taken into custody today after facing a judge in court over allegedly stealing a necklace from a swanky Beverly Hills boutique.
Lindsay’s lawyer immediately filed an appeal, which allowed the star to post bond since the case involves a misdemeanor violation. The judge knocked the charge down from a felony at the hearing today.
Judge Sautner set her bond at $75,000, which she is expected to post this evening.
Along with the jail sentence, the judge also gave LiLo 480 hours of community service. The starlet will serve 360 of those house at the Downtown Women’s Center, and the remaining 120 hours will be spent, get this: at the LA County morgue. Yikes.
The judge apparently explained that the star should have called the store to let them know that she had the necklace sooner, instead of waiting several weeks to return the piece of jewelry. She reportedly only returned the item when she found out the cops were about to raid her home.
The other big shocker coming out of court today: Michael Lohan didn’t even stop to talk to the press after the hearing.

Lindsay Lohan Signs On to Play Kim Gotti!
Just hours after reports nixed her as a candidate to play Victoria Gotti, Lindsay Lohan has been confirmed to have landed a role in the upcoming “Gotti” pictures.
The “Mean Girls” starlet inked a two film deal to portray mafia honcho John Gotti Jr.’s wife, Kim Gotti, in both “Gotti: Three Generations” and “Gotti: Mob Street”
Bringing the news of LiLo’s addition, Executive Producer Marc Fiore told, “We’re very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films. She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti.”
Talking to the AP about her new gig, Lindsay said, “I’m really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do. I think it’s such an iconic story. I’m honored to be working with John Travolta and Joe Pesci.”

Lindsay Lohan to sue jeweler, says no to plea deal
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against jeweler Kamofie & Company for using her image to profit without permission. The company sold CCTV footage of her in the store on the day she is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace.
The video was sold for at least $40,000 and will be aired tonight on Entertainment Tonight.
A representative for the jeweler has, however, said they felt it was “necessary” to release the video.
A statement to website TMZ read: “We hope that everyone understands that this is beyond our control, the flood of the requests to see this video were simply too overwhelming. It was truly necessary to put it out.”
Meanwhile it has been claimed Lindsay — who is still on probation after completing a court ordered rehab stint in January — will not accept a plea bargain for a six month jail term, offered by the District Attorney when she returns to court to face judge Keith Schwartz on Thursday.
This is partly because her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, thinks they have a strong chance of getting her sentence reduced to between 30 and 45 days in light of the video being leaked.
If Lindsay doesn’t take the plea deal her case will proceed to trial and be referred to Judge Stephanie Sautner, who has a reputation for being firm but fair.
A source told website Radaronline.com: “Judge Sautner doesn’t care if you are a celebrity or not, she is fair, but make no mistake, with repeat offenders, she shows no mercy.”

Lindsay Lohan & James Franco team up for provocative book
If troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan hopes to shed her bad girl reputation, she’s got a funny way of going about it.
Blacklisted by the movie industry following a string of misdemeanors and trips to rehab, LiLo (who was recently back in court charged with nicking a gold necklace, which she denies) has just signed her first major comeback deal.
The Mean Girls star, 24, has signed an estimated £2.1million deal to front an explicit photographic book which will contain “full frontal nudity” and “graphic” shots. Nice.
For the, ahem, hardback sex tome, LiLo will be getting her kit off and posing for photos with former squeeze James Franco, 32. I hear she has had a series of dinner meetings with the hunky 127 Hours actor, who hosted last night’s Oscars.
They will be working with US snapper Terry Richardson – the man behind Lady Gaga’s controversial naked shoot to advertise Supreme clothing.
My source tells me: “Lindsay is struggling to get another break in Hollywood. There’s a stigma attached to working with her and she is determined to change this – starting with the photographic book.
“Terry Richardson has persuaded Lindsay and James to get involved. He has assured them it will be provocative but tasteful.
“There will be a lot of nakedness – some of it graphic and suggestive – but it will be a real statement book.
“Obviously there will be comparisons to Madonna’s 1992 Sex book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier.”
LiLo is also doing a tell-all US TV interview with David Letterman in April. My source adds:
“Lindsay wants people to see the real her, not this drunken, out of control caricature she has become.” We’ll certainly see a lot of her when the book comes out.

Lindsay Lohan New Movie Deal – Escaping the Game
Movie producer Nathan Folks has been in discussions with Lindsay Lohan to co-star with actor Chris Zylka in an upcoming film project Escaping the Game.
Despite the fact that the Mean Girls actress has a felony grand larceny charge hanging over her head, Folks is still very much interested in lining Lilo up for the drama that will be shot in the U.S. and Spain.
Regarding the significant hurdle of getting Lindsay insured for the $30 million flick, the producer told Radaronline: “We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping on eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I have discussed it and she’s already agreed to the condition. She’s doing great and we’re going to prove to the world that she’s back.”
Zylka, who is currently filming The Amazing Spider-Man, hung out with Lindsay last night. At the urging of Folks, the pair took in a Ferras performance at an L.A. club Saturday evening.
Lohan later tweeted: “Went to see my friend @ohferras perform and was talking to a future costar- just to be bombarded by paparazzi- so much for being normal.”
The producer doesn’t claim to be a matchmaker: “I put the two of them together to go see the show. They’re both Ferras fans and I thought it would be a good chance for them to get to know each other. They’re strictly friends.”

She has a habit of relying on her fame to afford her special privileges, but last night (February 18) Lindsay Lohan didn’t get the star treatment she was expecting.
The “Mean Girls” actress tried to crash a private party at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles only to be immediately turned away. In shame, she slinked off through the venue’s garage.
In related news, LiLo attempted to set the record straight about her Thursday night antics at Teddy’s nightclub- she claims she wasn’t ever in the club but rather just at the Roosevelt Hotel.
Lindsay tweeted, “The reports i was at teddys are inaccurate…I was just at roosevelt to meet Samantha and say happy birthday to a friend. i take my sobriety seriously. please dont believe this accusations. i know the rules and i wouldnt risk probation. xoxo L.”

David Letterman Fooled by Purported Friend of Lindsay Lohan
In one of the stranger stories we’ve heard involving Lindsay Lohan — and we’ve heard a lot of strange stories involving Lindsay Lohan — someone close to the troubled starlet apparently fooled David Letterman into believing she would appear on his show last night.
Letterman and his production staff thought they had booked Lohan to read off one of his popular Top 10 lists. That turned out to not be the case.
“Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday’s Late Show with David Letteman, as had been previously announced,” said Tom Keaney, spokesman for Worldwide Pants Incorporated. “We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear.”
“Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf,” the statement continued. “We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future.”
Lohan chimed in via Twitter, writing, “I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I’m not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion…”

Charlie Sheen Steps Out, Offers Advice to Lohan
Looking to get some fresh air, Charlie Sheen was spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (February 15).
The “Major League” actor chatted with a TMZ video paparazzo outside a parking garage, looking sharp in a fedora and stylish spectacles.
During his interview on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Sheen offered some advice to fellow troubled celebrity Lindsay Lohan.
Charlie declared, “I have some things I think she should consider, cause I don’t tell anybody what to do. Work on your impulse control … just try and think things through a little bit before you do them.”

Lindsay Lohan To Be Charged with Felony Grand Theft Today
Looks like the legal system isn’t done with Lindsay Lohan. TMZ is reporting that the troubled actress will face charges today on felony grand theft, after she allegedly stole a $2,500.
According to sources speaking to TMZ, charges will be filed at Airport Court in Los Angeles this afternoon. Lohan will be required to be present at the hearing, which is scheduled for 1:30 tomorrow afternoon.
If convicted of the charges, Lohan couple face time on the California State prison system.
