Fans weren’t the only ones surprised to see Lauren Conrad topless on the cover of Glamour’s May issue!

When Conrad spoke to MTV News at her Fame Game book signing in NYC Tuesday, the 26-year-old admitted she didn’t think that would be the most talked-about shot. “There’s a lot of me on there! Listen, that was a surprise to me,” she laughed. “That was supposed to be a very small inside shot, and I saw the cover, and I was like, ‘Oh my!’ I blushed when I saw it. I was like, ‘That is a lot of me!’”

After giving reality TV another go, it is being reported that Lauren Conrad’s upcoming MTV show has been pulled.

The former “Hills” hottie told Hollywood Reporter,

We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life.

We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships.

“We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”
