Burlesque star Dita Von Teese has, for years, hinted at a desire to launch a clothing line. She told The Frisky last year, “I might like to, but I would be very careful about how I went about it because I feel like I wouldn’t want to just go into my closet and knock off my favorite designers.”

While Dita’s clothing collection has yet to materialize, her fans will be pleased to hear that they will be able to purchase a little bit of her enviable glamour in a little while. On Thursday, Von Teese tweeted about her upcoming signature scent: “Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!””

Dita continued, “I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.” It will be interesting to see what goes into the creation of aural fear, no?
