Britney Spears may be really busy with her tour now that it’s under way but that doesn’t mean she’s too busy for her sons! She spaced her concerts out well enough to make time for the important things - and people - in life too.

Britney took Jayden and Sean to Disney World Orlando before heading out to her Miami show, making sure that if her boys were following her tour that they got to have plenty of fun while they were at it. They enjoyed some special time together at Fantasyland over the weekend.

Not only did Britney make time for her own kids, she also set aside enough time to hang out with 40 kids at the Miami Children’s Hospital. The visit was a surprise to the sick children and Brit also made a large donation to the hospital’s Apple Circus Clown Care Program, an organization that provides medically trained clowns to visit with the kids.

Continuing on her momentous comeback tour, Britney Spears performed her second stop in Atlanta, Georgia last night (March 5) to a packed house.

The “Gimme More” songstress wowed the crowd with a hit-filled set list and a plethora of costume changes during the fast-paced, high-energy concert.

Alternate title: It’s Britney, bitch.

Last night marked the official kick-off of Britney Spears’ Circus tour and reports are that the old Brit’s back. Her own website liveblogged the event, including many Twitter reports from fans who were attending the show.

Britney’s concert almost completely sold out the 19,000 seat arena, included all the promised magic acts and more, including starting the show off by lowering a dancing Britney in a cage.

The concert involved a 16-song set, including “Circus”, “A Piece of Me”, “Radar”, “Slave 4 U”, “Toxic”, “Baby One More Time”, and of course her comeback single hit, “Womanizer”.

A review over on People.com said that Britney still has a bit further to go before she can officially claim a comeback - the article mentioned that there was a strong lack of engagement throughout the concert, and that Britney didn’t even address the crowd until the very end of the show. However, from the accolades that poured out on Twitter all evening, I think that the majority of the fans were more than just a little satisfied.

Donning everything from a police-inspired ensemble to a black dominatrix-style getup, Britney Spears made a big comeback last night at New Orleans Arena.

The “Toxic” songstress took the crowd through a high-paced 16-song set, beginning with her single “Circus” while being lowered from the rafters in a cage.  Brit followed with “Piece of Me” and “Radar” with a little help from a stripper pole.

Just a day away from launching her huge Circus tour starting in New Orleans, it’s also been announced that Britney Spears is a Candies girl!

Britney Spears has been announced as the new face for Candies, specifically of a clothing line for girls. The photo above and below are from a photoshoot for the company - she looks amazing!

I wonder if Britney is nervous - although she’s done a lot of performances since her album was released in December, this is her first big tour in years. I know I’d be freaking out! On behalf of Britney Groupie I wish Britney all the best for her shows!

When Britney Spears decided to do a circus-based tour for her album Circus, she didn’t go half-way. Aside from all the dancers and effects on the stage, Britney will also have a real illusionist on tour with her.

Ed Alonzo will be creating a mastery of magic on stage throughout the tour. Britney will be sawed in half and will also do what is called transposition which means she’ll be in one spot and suddenly show up somewhere else.

This trickery will just be one part of the show, along with the expected three-ring circus with trapeze artists and a lot of great visuals. Alonzo said that the dancing is incredible and blends hip-hop and tumbling among other steps.

As for how Britney will do on the tour, he said, “She’s really got it together. She’s totally focused. And she’s working her butt off.”

So exciting!

The current court case involving Britney Spears, her dad Jamie Spears, and ex-manager Sam Lufti just keeps getting stranger and stranger! The newest details to leak out from the case, where Sam has been standing up against the restraining order are just bizarre!

According to statements made in court, Britney has been making top secret phone calls to Sam Lufti and Adnan Ghalib on a prepaid cell phone that was somehow given to her by her ex-manager. I’m not sure how Sam mmanaged to send her a cell phone when Britney has been so heavily guarded and under what appears to be a very vigilant watch, but the phone in question was allegedly confiscated from Brit by some of the security that keeps tabs on her.

(Confiscated? Really? I don’t think either Sam or Adnan is a good influence on Britney but they confiscated her phone? I know she’s under Jamie’s control legally but this all makes her sound like she 15 years old and got caught staying up too late at night talking to her boyfriend while hiding under her covers, doesn’t it?)

I can’t help but wonder why Britney would want to communicate with either Sam or Adnan when it seems so clear that they caused far more trouble for her than anything else. On the other hand, maybe Britney isn’t sabotaging herself - maybe it’s Jamie Spears who is creating the biggest danger. There’s helping and protecting, and then there’s overbearing and over-controlling. The former could keep Britney safe and make her life better.

But the latter could end up pushing her straight back towards the people she needs out of her life.

Britney Spears has been working hard on her comeback - even if she has said that she doesn’t really consider it a comeback since she didn’t go anywhere - and now it’s being recognized by more than just her fans.

Madame Tussauds in London is arguably the most famous wax museum in the world, and it’s often considered a huge honor to be immortalized in wax and put on display there. Britney is not a new addition, exactly, but she’s gotten a whole new update.

Doesn’t she look realistic? I’m always torn between being freaked out by how creepy wax figures are (too many horror movies, I’d say) and amazed at how true to life some of them look.

This weekend a group of die-hard Britney Spears fans dressed up in six well-known Britney-esque costumes and posed with the new wax figure. Pretty cool!
