In a recent interview with Ebony magazine, Beyoncé Knowles spoke about her career and rapper husband, Jay-Z.

They asked the songstress if she had any plans for retirement, but I get the feeling that’s low on her priorities list.

She says, “I will never retire. I love it way to much. I’ve worked so hard on my craft and I will never stop.”

According to Ebony, Beyoncé was fully aware that this means she’ll have to backtrack on an earlier comment she made insisting she’d retire in her 20s.

She was asked about what she’s like when she’s not working. The singer claims she works hard enough at her job that she feels the need to be totally ‘laxed at home.

“I’m a little messy. Whenever I’m out in public, I have to be put together. When I get home, I rebel against it and I don’t want to take care of anything. I drop it.”

The same cannot be said for Hova. “He’s very,very organized. I’m extremely organized when I’m working, and I work so much that when I get home I don’t want to think about anything”.

The full interview will be shown in the April issue of Ebony and will be titled “BeyoncEvolved.” It should be available for purchase in early March.

Interesting to hear! I’m so curious. Will Beyoncé ever want to settle down and have kids? Poor Jay-Z must be going crazy ;).

Doing her thing for the cameras, Beyonce Knowles was busy logging the hours during a brand new music video shoot on the beaches of Malibu on Wednesday afternoon (February 18).

The “Irreplaceable” donned a tight black tank top with jean shorts as she held a rose next to her video companion, then changing into a flowing green dress to shoot a few more scenes.

Beyoncé Knowles is coming way up north to Canada (my country!) before she jets off to do her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” tour in Europe. She’s also included a little spot for Seattle before she leaves.

Speaking of sweeties, it seems like Jay-Z doesn’t have to worry much about his wife when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

According to My Park Mag in the UK, Beyoncé Knowles can be quoted as saying that she’s not much fun when she’s drunk. Instead of being violent, rude or loud, she’s chilled out and reserved.

She said, “Well, I don’t drink often. But when I’m drunk, I’m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep. I don’t think I’m much fun.”

When asked about drugs she says, “I always said I would never do it. I’ve never seen a person who was high and thought, ‘Wow, I want to do that!’ I’m like, ‘That’s cool for them, but no thank you. I’ll just have my wine.’ ”

Well, that’s definitely the way to go. I’ve never heard of a quiet drunk person, but I find that quite funny. Then again, unless she’s belting out a song, I can’t picture Bey as loud person at all.

Singing superstar, Beyoncé Knowles, is offering meet-and-greets on her upcoming tour in Europe. The only setback? The hole it’ll make in your wallet! The cost of the meet-and-greet is 25 times the cost of regular tickets. You’d have to pay £1,265, which is about ,630 in USD. 

Though it’s expensive, you’ll be getting quite a great experience. They say that you’ll get access to a pre-show party in an exclusive VIP room and in the room, there will be served a luxury dinner buffet. You’ll also get a complimentary bar and then will meet with the lovely Beyoncé. You can expect front row seating during her performance. As if that weren’t enough, you’ll also get a goodie bag filled with an autographed tour book, a wristband and a one-year membership to the Beyoncé fan club.

Oh my gosh! That is insane. That is the ultimate Beyoncé experience. The packages are being organised by Event Travel and you will be able to buy them trough Ticketmaster.

In town for the NBA All-Star festivities, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles attended the Sprite Green Instrument Donation in Mesa, Arizona on Saturday (February 14).

Teaming up with Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star and good friend LeBron James for the good cause, the “99 Problems” hitmaker, in partnership with the new low-calorie Sprite Green soda, donated 150 new musical instruments and an unexpected ,000 check to a local school during the event.

Beyoncé had two outfits last night at the 2009 NAACP Awards. She wore one pink and silver dress while arriving at the event and then she wore a beautiful white and black dress when she performed and accepted her award for Outstanding Female Artist. 

I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved her hair, her makeup, everything. Were you a fan of Bey’s outfits?
