Lindsay Lohan is headed back to the slammer — for 120 days! TMZ reports the starlet was just given the sentence for her violating her probation and will spend nearly 4 months in county jail.

The starlet was taken into custody today after facing a judge in court over allegedly stealing a necklace from a swanky Beverly Hills boutique.

Lindsay’s lawyer immediately filed an appeal, which allowed the star to post bond since the case involves a misdemeanor violation. The judge knocked the charge down from a felony at the hearing today.

Judge Sautner set her bond at $75,000, which she is expected to post this evening.

Along with the jail sentence, the judge also gave LiLo 480 hours of community service. The starlet will serve 360 of those house at the Downtown Women’s Center, and the remaining 120 hours will be spent, get this: at the LA County morgue. Yikes.

The judge apparently explained that the star should have called the store to let them know that she had the necklace sooner, instead of waiting several weeks to return the piece of jewelry. She reportedly only returned the item when she found out the cops were about to raid her home.

The other big shocker coming out of court today: Michael Lohan didn’t even stop to talk to the press after the hearing.

Lady GaGa is once again raising eyebrows with a very revealing magazine cover, this time around it’s for the mag NME. She’s barely dressed and grabbing her boob for the cover, and it the mag she’s calling the comparison to Madonna retarded.

“I swear to you. I am not stupid enough to put out a record and be that moronic,” she told the mag.

“Listen to me. Why the f–k…? I’m a songwriter. I’ve written loads of music. Why would I try to put out a song and think I’m getting one over on everybody? That’s retarded. What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about.”

Of course her use of the “r” word already has some all kinds of upset:

I don’t blame GaGa for being a little peturbed over some comparing her music to Madonna’s, she works hard on writing her songs and coming up with new material. And as for her use of the “r” word, people really need to learn how to not be soooooo sensative, she wasn’t using the word to make fun of any one person

Just hours after reports nixed her as a candidate to play Victoria Gotti, Lindsay Lohan has been confirmed to have landed a role in the upcoming “Gotti” pictures.

The “Mean Girls” starlet inked a two film deal to portray mafia honcho John Gotti Jr.’s wife, Kim Gotti, in both “Gotti: Three Generations” and “Gotti: Mob Street”

Bringing the news of LiLo’s addition, Executive Producer Marc Fiore told, “We’re very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films. She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti.”

Talking to the AP about her new gig, Lindsay said, “I’m really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do. I think it’s such an iconic story. I’m honored to be working with John Travolta and Joe Pesci.”

Britney’s back! The singer took the stage in Las Vegas last night and performed three new tunes off her upcoming album — in a leather bodysuit, no less.

Britney Spears sang in front of more than a thousand screaming fans at Rain nightclub at the Palms Friday night, making her first live show since 2009 very memorable. She sang “Hold It Against Me,” “Till the World Ends,” and “Big Fat Bass” off her upcoming album Femme Fatale, which drops Tuesday!

“OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!” she posted on Twitter after the show.

“We are extremely excited to have one of the most iconic artists of all time back at the Palms,” owner George Maloof told UsMagzine.com in statement. “Britney’s performances were unbelievable and her fans will never forget this night.”

The mini concert was actually supposed to be a big surprise, but the cat got out of the bag Friday afternoon. Brit tweeted: “Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas? -Brit”

Elizabeth Taylor died at 1:28 AM at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles … where she had been hospitalized for the past couple of weeks.  A private funeral will be held later this week.

Taylor’s publicist says she was “surrounded by her children — Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton.”

Taylor’s rep says the actress died “peacefully” from congestive heart failure, “a condition with which she had struggled with for many years.” The rep adds, “Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home.  Sadly, this was not to be.”

Someone at the hospital Tuesday night tells TMZ … doctors knew at around 6 PM that Taylor was dying.

Taylor was considered one of the greatest actresses of all-time — starring in classics like “Cleopatra” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” She won an Academy Award for best actress twice for her roles in “BUtterfield 8″ and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”.

Taylor, who was married 8 times — twice to Richard Burton — is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Taylor’s son, Michael, says, “My mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love.”  Michael goes on to tout his mom’s “brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS … We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it.”

Elton John says, “We have just lost a Hollywood giant; more importantly, we have lost an incredible human being.”

Dr. Arnold Klein, Taylor’s longtime friend and doctor, tells TMZ, “She’s the greatest human being I’ve ever known.  She used her celebrity not just for fame but to change the world.  Elizabeth gave AIDS a face and that’s when people started accepting it as a disease.”

We’ve learned Taylor has a plot next to her parents at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in L.A. Among those who are buried or interred there — Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood,  Truman Capote, Farrah Fawcett, Dean Martin and Walter Matthau.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation — elizabethtayloraidsfoundation.org.

Tommy Lee is developing a reality show for Syfy called Culture Shock with Tommy Lee.

The premise is that Tommy will travel with an investigative team who will try to unlock the mysterious secrets of some previously unknown “secret societies”. Of the show, Tommy says:

“This is the first show that I’ve been a part of that will blow our minds and reveal things that will explain almost all our questions. I’m very excited to be partnering with Syfy on this show. It’s going to be an amazing experience for all involved.”

We’re intrigued! It sounds like Ghost Hunters…Rock N’ Roll edition!!!
