Paris Hilton tells OK! magazine that she wants paparazzi pictures to look good, so she puts a confident smile on!

But she thinks that Victoria Beckham gets nervous around the photogs.

“Certain things are said in the media about celebrities and people assume that’s how they are,” Paris tells the magazine.

“It’s only when you get to know someone you learn that it’s made up.”

“Victoria doesn’t smile and she does pout, but maybe she’s just shy. It’s very invasive when there are so many cameras on you.”

Dan Levy, owner of AdultsOnlyList.com, has coined the term “The Paris Hilton Effect” to describe the idea that “Women are immersed with the idea, from every media outlet in the country, that having sex on the first date is the norm.”

According to a study conducted on his dating site, women are more likely to have an intimate encounter with men whom they have known for less than 6 hours. 20,000 women daters aged 18 - 35 were polled and a staggering 34% revealed that they would wait less than 1 date (or approximately 6 hours) with a man before engaging in intimate behaviors.

Mr. Levy further explains that “Hollywood and the media have really set the stage for this to be a reality. Every other image the average woman sees is of a major celebrity flashing their underwear or hanging on the arm of a different man every night. That being said, the results aren’t very shocking to me.”

Paris Hilton is spotted sitting down and then walking the catwalk to promote Japanese clothes brands at “No Name” club in Takeshiba, Tokyo.

Paris is in town with possible new boyfriend, Doug Reihnardt. Rumor also has it that she followed Robert Pattinson into town because he’s there for the Twilight premiere!

I’m guessing the latter is true, especially with reports saying that Paris and Doug have been hooking up secretly for late-night trysts at Paris’ place for several weeks now.

Paris Hilton is set to join Craig Ferguson in five primetime Comedy Spots on March 2.

Craig host CBS’s Monday Night with a series of primetime comedic spots on March 2 and 9. The interstitials will lead into The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement and CSI: Miami.

Paris will join in a cameo role in the spots, the last of which teases her guest appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson later that evening.

The spots are set in Ferguson’s shabby faux house!

Paris Hilton was spotted arriving in Japan today with none other than Doug Reinhardt!

Sources confirm to E! News that Paris and Amanda Bynes‘ ex are there for a romantic getaway!

The source says that Paris has several business-related appearances scheduled in Japan later this week, and she invited Doug to join her for some fun.

“She had an extra seat in first class,” says the source. “Instead of taking her assistant, she took Doug.”

Good, maybe this will stomp the rumors of Paris and Robert Pattinson cozying up together … although Rob is also in Japan promoting Twilight!

Nicky Hilton reportedly made a citizen’s arrest this weekend after an early breakfast at IHOP turned ugly!

Nicky was leaving the restaurant in West Hollywood just before 5 AM on Saturday when Michael Broadhurst, a 50-year-old homeless man, allegedly pushed her from behind.

Nicky was shaken by the encounter, but not hurt.

“One of our deputies was at the IHOP, having a coffee break, and noticed a waitress run outside because there was a commotion,” a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says.

“She’s OK, but she was desirous of prosecution. She said, ‘I am placing you under citizen’s arrest!’”

Leeza, along with Olivia Newton-John and David Foster, set up the event as to introduce a way to turn Academy Awards® night into an interactive viewing party and webcast designed to honor Hollywood and celebrate the industry’s huge heart. Their goal was to empower guests and viewers to make a change in their own lives and in the world.

Well here’s something you don’t see every day… Paris Hilton avoiding the paparazzi! Seems Paris was spotted at Barry Diller’s Pre-Oscar Party in Beverly Hills. With her back to the camera, she sinks to the ground and lights a cigarette.

In other news, one of Paris’ British BFF contestants (Meddy Ford) raves about her, saying “When I auditioned for the show, I didn’t care about the fame. I just wanted to meet her, hang out with her, see what she’s like and get to know her. It turned out she was everything I thought she would be and more. She’s perfection and I feel so privileged to have spent that time with her. People class her as a dumb blonde but she’s so not, and if I could have one per cent of her success, I would die happy.”

Paris Hilton looks like a wedding cake as she poses on the red carpet at the ‘Montblanc Signature for Good’ Charity Initiative. The event was held at Paramount Studios on Friday.

The initiative featured the portraiture photography of American photographer Roger Moenks to benefit UNICEF’s education and literacy programs. Supporters included Eva Longoria, Sienna Miller, Susan Sarandon, Emily Blunt, Marcia Cross, Christina Ricci, Andie MacDowell, Helen Hunt, Lauren Hutton, Milla Jovovich, Jessica Lange and Mira Sorvino.

Guests enjoyed a unique menu designed by Wolfgang Puck and, following dinner, also enjoyed entertainment by a swing band.

On the eve of the Oscars, the Golden Raspberry Awards were handed out Saturday night to some of the least acclaimed films of the year.

Mike Myers was the biggest winner for The Love Guru, which took home Worst Picture, Worst Actor (for Myers himself), and Worst Screenplay.

Paris earned awards for Worst Actress (for The Hottie & The Nottie), Worst Supporting Actress (for Repo! The Genetic Opera), and Worst Couple (with either Christine Lakin or Joel David Moore in The Hottie & The Nottie)!
