Nicole Richie ad Joel Madden were spotted stopping by Toby Maguire and Jennifer Meyer’s house early yesterday. The reason? To set up one-year-old Harlow on a playdate with Jen and Toby’s daughter, Ruby.

Ruby would make a great friend for Harlow. She’s a year older than Harlow, having been born on November 10, 2006. Toby and Jen seem like low-key parents who try to stay out of the spotlight - and keep Ruby out of it too.

How frustrating must it be though for Toby and Jen to have that many camera people outside their home because of a simple playdate for their daughter? I wonder if it will deter them from inviting Joel, Nicole and Harlow over again.

Nicole Richie’s pregnancy isn’t slowing her down! Last night, she enjoyed a night out at the Gengis Cohen restaurant. She looked pretty tired and was makeup free. She wasn’t too keen on seeing the photographers there either - she hid her face with her purse when she left the restaurant later that evening.

No wonder Nicole was tired, she had a busy day. She and Joel spent the afternoon on February 23 at a photo shoot for a magazine. I’m not sure which magazine, but I’m willing to bet we’ll see them on the cover of one of the less trashy tabloids soon. See the pictures here.

Joel Madden was seen heading into a meeting in Hollywood yesterday afternoon. He was in bit of a rush and did not look impressed to see a photographer in the parking lot.

Nicole and Joel announced their big news this past week (they’re having another baby!), but, despite this excitement, are keeping up with their day to day routine.

On February 21, Nicole and Joel enjoyed a quiet lunch at Hugo’s Restaurant. Nicole went for a super casual look, wearing cut-off shorts and a cardigan. She isn’t starting to show yet, I wonder when she will! See the photos here.

Later that day, Nicole and Joel were seen running errands with Harlow in tow. Harlow looked cute ina little flowered dress and tights. Her hair is getting pretty long. I bet she’s going to be such a girly girl when she gets older. See the pictures here.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden celebrated their great news with all of Hollywood when they attended a post-Oscar party at a private Hollywood mansion last night.

Nicole looked great in a bright yellow dress and Joel looked pretty dapper in his suit and black shirt.

Nicole and Joel enjoyed themselves, staying out until nearly 4am, US magazine reports. The private event was hosted by Hollywood heavyweights Rick Yorn, Patrick Whitesell, Mike Deluca and Brent Bolthouse.

“She looks very happy,” a source told the magazine. I’m sure she did - Nicole and Joel had lots to celebrate last night!

People.com chatted with Nicole Richie’s bff Paris Hilton and her mom, Kathy, as they walked the red carpet for the 1st Annual Leeza Gibbons Night to Make a Difference post-Oscars party in Beverly Hills. The hottest topic of the night? Nicole’s pregnancy!

On Saturday, Nicole and Joel announced they were expecting their second child together.

“I’m so excited for Nicole,” Paris told People.com. Mom Kathy got in on the well wishes too, even guessing the sex of the baby.

“I think it’s going to be a boy,” said Kathy. “I’m never wrong.”

I’d love it if Nicole and Joel had a boy! But two little girls will be adorable too!

It’s official - Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are having another baby! Joel made the announcement on the official Good Charlotte website!

“What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family,” Joel writes.

I’m so superexcited for Nicole, Joel and Harlow. Nicole has always wanted a big family - she’s dreamed of having three boys and twin girls - and it’s great to see Nicole and Joel are happy, healthy, and ready to see their family grow. They have a new house where they can raise Harlow and her baby brother or sister!

Usually these announcements are made after three months of pregnancy, when the biggest risk period has passed. Therefore, I’m guessing the baby will be due in August or September.

Congratulations Nicole, Joel and Harlow!

Nicole Richie and daughter Harlow had a busy week in the Big Apple. Nicole saw the Proenza Schouler, the Diesel Black Gold, and the Zac Posen Fall/Winter 2009 shows for New York Fashion Week.

In between fashion shows, the twosome apartment hunted together and enjoyed some quiet time in NYC. Now it’s time for them to head home.

BuzzFoto spotted the pair arriving at the LAX airport earlier today. Both were decked out in true fashionista style - Harlow in head-to-toe purple and Nicole in a chic fedora and oversized sweater.

Harlow’s soother has her name on it! Harlow is a pretty unusual name - Nicole or Joel must have had it specially made! It’s too cute!

Nicole Richie enjoyed another front-row view at New York Fashion Week when she took in Zac Posen’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection last night. Nicole looked stunning in a flirty white sheath, black tights, complemented by an oversized purple clutch.

Zac’s show has received lukewarm responses. The New York Times called the collection “a bag of Grandma’s clothes.”

Regardless, it looks like Nicole enjoyed herself. And why wouldn’t she? She sat front row with Alicia Keys and upcoming superstar, DJ Leigh Lezark. I’m sure though, by the end of the night, Nicole was ready to head back to her hotel to spend time with her favorite fashionista - daughter, Harlow!

Nicole Richie and adorable one-year-old daughter Harlow enjoyed some mommy-and-me time yesterday afternoon. The chilly weather didn’t stop the pair from checking out Chelsea Pier. Harlow looked adorable in her wool hat and polka-dotted jacket.

Harlow has gotten so big recently, it looks like Nicole is having a tough time carrying her. I’m really excited for when she’s running around and talking - it’ll be too cute!

Nicole looked like the coolest mom in town in aviator shades, a cropped jacket and torn jeans. I hope Harlow is enjoying her first fashion week. I bet she’s going to be quite the fashionista when she gets older.
