A photo purportedly showing Whitney Houston in an open coffin has been published on the cover of this week’s National Enquirer.

The casket photo shows Whitney lying dead in her golden casket, wearing a purple dress and a diamond broach and earrings. Also, she’s reportedly was  wearing jewels worth $500,000 and had gold slippers on her feet,

The picture is believed to have been taken inside the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, where her family attended a private wake last Friday. The magazine claims the photo was taken at the private viewing.

Drew Barrymore got engaged to Will Kopelman in January and now there’s some evidence to suggest there’s a baby on the way. The biggest clue: The actress carried what TMZ describes as something that “appears to be a sonogram” as she walked out of a doctor’s office late last week.

Plus, Drew has been wearing loose clothing as of late. Last week she wore a baggy dress to the the H&M Collection launch and she donned an oversized sweater while at said doctor’s appointment in Beverly Hills. She sported a more fitted floor-length dress at an event in late January, but an early baby bump could have easily fit underneath the patterned material. That’s three for three…

Apparently Barrymore’s rep gave a “no comment” answer regarding the alleged pregnancy. FYI: “No comment” isn’t “No.”

She’s bound and determined to return to the limelight, and Lindsay Lohan has just scored a hosting gig on an upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

The “Mean Girls” actress decided to go it alone, not utilizing the help of her momager Dina Lohan, and instead talked directly to the show’s head honcho Lorne Michaels.

Lindsay will host the March 3rd show, an important step towards having a viable career in the entertainment industry again.

And as far as her legal woes, LiLo will be done with probation on March 29th if she gets her conditions fulfilled by then.

Everyone from Beyoncé to Mariah Carey to Kelly Clarkson has been thrown out as the next X Factor judge. But if new reports are to be believed, it’s Janet Jackson that may be nabbing the coveted X Factor gig.

Speculation that the singer and actress is Simon Cowell’s top choice for the job heated up during an upcoming interview on Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show. Cooper asked Jackson if she is currently a member of the X Factor judging panel and she replied, “No, I am not. But that’s all I really think I should say.” Hmmmmm, sounds like some serious sidestepping if you ask us.

After a so-so first season (the show did well in the ratings but failed to muster up the 20 million viewers a week that Cowell had boldly promised), X Factor axed judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, and also fired host Steve Jones. Music producer L.A. Reid was the sole survivor of the bloodbath. Simon Cowell has been on the hunt to find a big name female pop star to fill the void. Rumors even surfaced this week that he was meeting with Whitney Houston, who died suddenly at the age of 48 over the weekend, about the job.

Beyonce’s stylish return to the public eye continued last night as she attended hubby Jay-Z’s final performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

We were in awe Monday evening when she stepped out for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in a body-hugging Alice Temperley. But that was just a tease compared to the sparkly frock she slipped on last night!

We should have known that Bey had something even more spectacular up her sleeve. After all, she did rock 6-inch stilettos throughout her entire pregnancy.

Tuesday night, the “Love On Top” singer upped the ante and showed off her killer curves in a sexy black Monique Lhuillier dress complete with with Gucci shoes and a Chanel purse.

Again, Baby Blue was present in the details–Bey wore a beautiful blue Lorraine Schwartz bracelet, earrings, the cocktail ring she wore Monday night and still had her nails painted blue.

Bey shared pictures and descriptions of her flawless ensemble with fans on her website. Looks like the new mom is excited to be out and about.

It may have only been three and a half months since she filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries, but Kim Kardashian certainly seemed in the mood to celebrate Valentine’s Day today.

The reality star even decided to wear a themed outfit for a work out session in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.

31-year-old Kim arrived at the gym in a grey sweat top emblazoned with a studded heart that was designed to look like a peace symbol.

The socialite teamed the themed T-shirt with a pair of black gym leggings and some grey, pink and white trainers that perfectly matched the colours of her top.

She had her eyes glued to her phone as she made her way inside the gym and couldn’t stop beaming at a particular message she saw.

When Kim made her way home from the gym, she was carrying a single pink rose.

It comes a day after she was seen leaving the venue with a huge smile on her face, amid rumours she may be getting back together with former flame Reggie Bush.

According to TMZ, the couple were spotted enjoying a lunch date on Saturday at the Beverly Hills hotel.

Sources tell the celebrity website that the two ‘appeared close and were laughing and smiling together.’

The former couple have apparently been ‘spending a lot of time together’ as reported by TMZ.

Kim and American football star Reggie enjoyed a two year relationship before initially splitting in July 2009.

Two months later they got back together before ending their relationship again in March 2010.

After making us wait for weeks, Vogue sneakily dropped their March 2012 Adele cover the day of the Grammys, which uncoincidentally was a huge night for the singer (she took home six awards, including Best Album).

And now that we’ve got our glimpse of the cover, here are some of the photos from Adele’s editorial, which wraps her in romantic Oscar de la Renta, et al., and zooms in on her traditional cat-wing eyeliner and red lips.

In the interview, we learn some surprising things about the acclaimed singer: she sneaks (gasp!) cigarettes sometimes; she’s quite fond of the F-word; and she says about her breakup-inspired album that she’s done being a “bitter witch.”

While Lindsay Lohan was on the younger end of the age spectrum of those making an appearance at last night’s amfAR Gala, one certainly wouldn’t know it by looking at her. The “Mean Girls” actress looked far older than 25 as she posed for photos on the red carpet of the gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street.

Lohan’s overly bleached hair bordered on white, giving the star’s face an older cast. Her nude makeup further dulled her complexion. Meanwhile, her buttoned-up, long-sleeved white dress seemed stolen out of an older woman’s closet, while her jewelry had a distinctly bought-in-the ’80s vibe.

Perhaps years of hard partying and legal woes have taken their toll on Lohan. Or there could be another explanation for the star’s appearance — perhaps she is channeling the Gotti look.

Last April, Lohan appeared at the press conference for the film “Gotti: Three Generations,” in which she had been rumored to be in talks for the role of Victoria Gotti. Producer Marc Fiore confirmed at the time that Lohan was in talks for the film, though nothing had been finalized.

In October, Deadline reported that the movie, now called “Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father,” was having financial issues after casting high-priced stars like John Travolta and Al Pacino. Meanwhile, Lohan’s rep told USA Today that Lohan was finalizing her agreement for the film, to play Kim Gotti, wife of John Gotti III.

Perhaps Lohan’s amfAR ensemble is an attempt to show that she can easily look like a mob wife. It’s also possible that the starlet is looking to age herself in attempt to get more serious roles in general.

A guy like Howard Stern, with such a widespread audience and recognizable personality, has a lot of pull in this world. What he says a lot of people hear — and more importantly, listen to. So we were nothing but proud to hear him go off on the homophobes of this country who dare to have problems with the gay community on his radio show Monday morning. From the JcPenney people who are boycotting because of Ellen DeGeneres to the mid-western women who have created a group called “No Homo,” Howard doesn’t hold back in his distain for them and further, let’s people like David Letterman (who recognizably has a problem with Rosie O’Donnell) really have it.

Using their sexiness to help peddle a little product, a trio of Angels held court during a Valentine’s Day Event at Victoria’s Secret, SoHo on Wednesday afternoon (February 8).

Holding up colorful holiday-themed undergarments and mini-hearts were Adriana Lima, Lindsay Ellingson, and Doutzen Kroes.

With Miss Lima and Miss Ellingson having made a TV appearance on “FOX and Friends” earlier in the day, the duo offered up their tips when it comes to Valentine’s Day gifting.

As for their recommendations, Adriana and Lindsay agreed on a suggestion for the guys in need of something for their gals, saying, “Fragrance is the perfect gift for a woman.”

Ellingson also explained what makes the brand’s new Gorgeous Push Up bra so great, telling, “Because it adds two cups sizes, it’s embellished and laced, with Swarovski elements, it’s a really sexy, girly bra.” Adriana added, “Cant you just see you’re wife wearing this bra!”
