Kanye West sat down with Sway and King Tech on their “Wake Up Show” and gave us a bit more info on Jay-Z’s song “Jockin Jay-Z” off of his “Blueprint 3” which Kanye co-produced.

West says they sampled from Run DMC. He explains, “[Run] says, ‘I see you jockin’ J.C.’ But it sounds like ‘Jay-Z.’ And I had the idea from the last album. I was like, man, I just need to make a beat ’cause it just messes with people’s heads. Psychologically, they’re like, ‘How could he have said “jockin’ Jay-Z” 20 years ago? Jay-Z was not out.’ I love stuff that messes with people’s heads when it happens.”

It’s good to know a bit more about the song. It’s a great track. However, no one knows when the album will be released, but all we can do is hope it will be soon. Kanye had once said that we might see it in February of 2009, but seeing as we’re more than halfway through February, that’s probably won’t happen.

She really mixed up a a bunch of different styles with that outfit. She’s got an elegant looking dress paired with a rock ‘n roll leather jacket and some bold purple shoes. I’m not nearly as adventurous. I like simple and chic, but hey, it works for some people!

  Everyone has been waiting to here from Jay-Z after Chris Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna.  Finally, he has spoken out personally.

Jay, who is close with the Barbadian singer and signed her to Def Jam Records, says, “It’s not a sound bite, this is a real situation. If you can’t have compassion for others … just imagine it being your sister or your mom or somebody like that, then think about how you should talk about that.

He continues to say, “I just think we all should just support her. She’s going through a tough time. You gotta realize she’s very young as well. She’s very young.”

That’s exactly right. The poor girl needs people to support her. I’m glad he handled this so professionally. Everyone was so sure he was going to come out with his guns blazing, but once again he impressed me.

Speaking of sweeties, it seems like Jay-Z doesn’t have to worry much about his wife when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

According to My Park Mag in the UK, Beyoncé Knowles can be quoted as saying that she’s not much fun when she’s drunk. Instead of being violent, rude or loud, she’s chilled out and reserved.

She said, “Well, I don’t drink often. But when I’m drunk, I’m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep. I don’t think I’m much fun.”

When asked about drugs she says, “I always said I would never do it. I’ve never seen a person who was high and thought, ‘Wow, I want to do that!’ I’m like, ‘That’s cool for them, but no thank you. I’ll just have my wine.’ ”

Well, that’s definitely the way to go. I’ve never heard of a quiet drunk person, but I find that quite funny. Then again, unless she’s belting out a song, I can’t picture Bey as loud person at all.

Singing superstar, Beyoncé Knowles, is offering meet-and-greets on her upcoming tour in Europe. The only setback? The hole it’ll make in your wallet! The cost of the meet-and-greet is 25 times the cost of regular tickets. You’d have to pay £1,265, which is about ,630 in USD. 

Though it’s expensive, you’ll be getting quite a great experience. They say that you’ll get access to a pre-show party in an exclusive VIP room and in the room, there will be served a luxury dinner buffet. You’ll also get a complimentary bar and then will meet with the lovely Beyoncé. You can expect front row seating during her performance. As if that weren’t enough, you’ll also get a goodie bag filled with an autographed tour book, a wristband and a one-year membership to the Beyoncé fan club.

Oh my gosh! That is insane. That is the ultimate Beyoncé experience. The packages are being organised by Event Travel and you will be able to buy them trough Ticketmaster.

In town for the NBA All-Star festivities, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles attended the Sprite Green Instrument Donation in Mesa, Arizona on Saturday (February 14).

Teaming up with Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star and good friend LeBron James for the good cause, the “99 Problems” hitmaker, in partnership with the new low-calorie Sprite Green soda, donated 150 new musical instruments and an unexpected ,000 check to a local school during the event.

Hoorah! Beyoncé Knowles, who has publically been attacked by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals is actually not on their list of the worst dressed celebrities – but get this! Neither is J Lo! 

Both of them have been known for flaunting fur every now and then, but they’ve resisted and haven’t been seen wearing any.

Michael McGraw from PETA  has said, "As far as we know Beyonce hasn’t been seen in fur at all this year…neither has J.Lo."

You can actually vote on PETA’s annual worst dressed celebrities list.

So far, up for nomination are Mary J. Blige, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson among others. Personally, I never found wearing a dead animal that appealing, but I guess a lot of people love it.

Beyoncé had two outfits last night at the 2009 NAACP Awards. She wore one pink and silver dress while arriving at the event and then she wore a beautiful white and black dress when she performed and accepted her award for Outstanding Female Artist. 

I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved her hair, her makeup, everything. Were you a fan of Bey’s outfits?

Beyoncé Knowles did a fantastic job when she performed her new single “Halo” last night at the 40th Annual NAACP Awards. It was such a nice and sweet performance and she looked great. There was a nice little montage playing during the performance.
